MCG has commenced Nordland III extension, MC2D-MCG1202

The survey is acquired with SMNG's vessel Akademik Lazarev and is expected to be completed mid August.

The MC2D-MCG1202 will tie well 6610/7-1 and the to-be-drilled "Lovund" prospect 6610/10-1. With the previous MC2D-MCG1002, MCG now has a modern, consistent, long offset dataset which ties all the important wells in the Træna/Nordland III/Nordland Ridge area. Following the processing of MC2D-MCG1202, the MC2D-MCG1002 will be reprocessed with the same processing sequence by PSS-Geo. The data will be available in December 2012.
